"Banquet" was exhibited at Galeri Baraz in Istanbul, Turkey; January 29 - February 14, 1976. I started working on it in August 1975.  The installation consisted of a 48-feet long table set for a banquet; the portions started with a single, pale drop of "food" and escalated in color and scope to unusual intensity and dimensions.  A single man was seated at the farthest end of the the table, a comment to the inequality of distribution of wealth in the world.  The work was accompanied by an audio recording of fingernails scratching against wood; a reference to the human struggle for survival.
